Deciding to travel to Texas was one of the biggest decisions I have ever made… and coming was one of the scariest things I have ever done. Although it was a huge decision and a scary thought, I couldn’t think of how different my life would be if I didn’t chose to come here. Its only been 3 weeks and I have had the time of my life, and it has gone by so quickly I cant believe I’m already half way through! Staying with the Chambers family has been amazing and I am so lucky to be living with such a beautiful family who take care of me so well. Having three sisters is a dream come true.
Texas has so much to offer and I have already made so many fond memories and had so many great experiences with many more to come. Experiencing the food, culture, dances and people have been amazing. I love all the Mexican food, Dr. Pepper, as well as all the delicious candy that can’t be found in Australia. Canwick was definitely a highlight and I will always remember that night, and all the dancing and laughs that went alongside it.
The New York trip is coming up and I am so excited to be going on it with Gracie and all of her friends. It will be a week to remember with the museums, Broadway shows and of course all the shopping. I am looking forward to exploring New York with friends and having the time of our lives. It will be one of the most amazing trips I have ever been on, allowing me to learn so much and spend time with some amazing people.
Being here has allowed me to make many life long friends who I will cherish in my heart forever and I will always stay in contact with them. I hope I will be able to come back and visit again, and that Gracie and her friends will be able to come visit me in Australia.
