Well this movie was certainly a thigh-slapper. Being the favorite movie of so many All Saints’ students, many stated they have never watched anything funnier and they nearly ran out of breath laughing. The movie begins when the main characters Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dun (Jeff Daniels), embark on a road trip to find Harry’s newly discovered daughter, who was given up for adoption, when suddenly Lloyd finds himself in love with her.

Jeff Daniel’s favorite part about playing Harry is how “innocent” his character is. In an interview, Daniels states, “The movie starts off as more is more. It starts at more, and just goes higher. Whether you laugh at all of it or half of it, we will getcha.” Jim Carrey stated, “It is lightning in a bottle…and no matter what mood you are in, this movie will make you feel better.” Though Lloyd can never seem to get that breath spray in his mouth, he is certainly a genius and talented actor. Come and watch it for yourself, but make sure your bring tissues because you might cry of laughter.
