I was very excited for school to start; I couldn’t wait to meet the new teachers and start off the school year. I was pushing my parents to start buying school/locker supplies right when school got out because I was so excited! Most people are not excited for school, but I like to have something to keep me occupied and know what I’m doing next. I was excited for lockers but mostly for lunch buddies; I love kids they’re so cute and it would be so much fun helping them. The one thing I was worried about was whether or not we were going to have a six grade play. I really wanted to. I was also worried about whether we would go to Vicksburg or not. When I was reassured by the teachers we were, I was very glad. I was surprised we started a project the first day; it was a lot of fun though. I soon realized sixth grade would be like this, a lot of work in a short amount of time. The teachers are great, they are not strict, very fun, and understanding, and for that I am very glad. Vicksburg is coming up very soon, and I can’t wait; it’s going to be so much fun! I wish we didn’t have to drive, car + long time = boring. No, it should be fun. I just hope no one snores, but I don’t think I’ll have much luck. Science used to be my favorite subject, but Mr. Gaul and the class killed me, so now it’s grammar. (Sorry Mr. Becker and Mrs. Hart I love you guys too.) Well, school has been amazing so far and I can’t wait for upcoming and new experiences. That’s how I feel about sixth grade.
