Millions of people watched as Lady Gaga preformed during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The show was pure Gaga, without help from other singers and without political innuendo.
Lady Gaga began her performance with a tribute to the USA by singing “God Bless America” and “This is Your Land” on top of the stadium. She pulled off some incredible acrobatic stunts when she jumped off of the top of the stadium and descended down on a cable. Of course, Lady Gaga had to sing some of her #1 hits such as “Just Dance,” “Telephone,” “Poker Face,” and “Born This Way.” She slowed things down a bit mid-performance, singing her newest hit “Million Reasons,” while playing the piano. She asked the crowd, “America, world, how’re you doing tonight?…We’re here to make you feel good. You want to feel good with us?” She even said hi to her mom and dad during the show. She ended the show with “Bad Romance,” one of her most well-known songs.
Gaga stayed sparkly throughout the performance with her stunning fashion statements and her over-the-top rhinestone eye makeup. Her outfit choices were one of a million reasons to love her Super Bowl performance. Lady Gaga rocked three looks by Atelier Versace. She started off with a stunning sparkly bodysuit covered in Swarovski crystals and matching knee-high boots. Gaga then revealed a golden jacket which had shoulder spikes while she played the keytar. Next, Lady Gaga embodied the spirit of the Super Bowl with a cropped white jacket with shoulder pads (to resemble football pads) and matching rhinestone hotpants.
Lady Gaga stayed true to her flamboyant self from the fashion choices, to the song choices, to the flawless vocals.
