With Winter sports teams getting closer to the SPC Tournament on February 14th and 15th in Houston, Texas, here is a preview of the upcoming schedules and conference games in which your Saints will be taking part, as well as a re-cap of this week’s games:

Men’s Basketball: The Varsity Men’s Basketball team remains undefeated in conference play (5-0) after a convincing 24-point victory over rival Trinity Valley, 55-31. They will travel to Irving Cistercian to take on the Hawks on Friday night at 7:00pm and will look to ensure top-four seeding in the SPC Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Women’s Basketball: The Varsity Women’s Basketball team will take to the practice court for the rest of this week after a tough loss to Trinity Valley on Tuesday night. Their next game will be played here at All Saints’  on Tuesday, February 4th, against the Eagles from the Episcopal School of Dallas at 5:30pm.

Men’s Soccer: The Varsity Men’s Soccer team beat rival Trinity Valley on Tuesday night, 3-1, as Junior Jonathan Song scored two goals to lead the way. The team controls its own destiny in terms of seeding in the SPC Tournament and would need to win its remaining four games to lock up a spot in Division I. They take the field next in an away game at Irving Cistercian at 6:00pm on Friday, January 31.

Women’s Soccer: The Varsity Women’s Soccer team fell in a close game to Trinity Valley this week, losing 2-1. They will look for an upset over the Episcopal School of Dallas next Tuesday, February 4, here at All Saints’ at 5:30pm.

Wrestling: The Varsity Wrestling team has been hard at work the past two weeks in preparation for the Prep State Tournament, which will be held this weekend, January 31 and February 1, in Houston, Texas. The top two winners from each weight class will move on to the Prep National Tournament.
