A recap on last week’s Homecoming Sporting Events:

All Saints’ welcomed (Oklahoma City) Casady High School for Varsity match-ups in Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Football to culminate what was a very spirited, enthusiastic Homecoming Week. The All Saints’ Varsity Volleyball team improved its record with a 3-0 sweep over Casady in a quick, sound victory. The team remains tied for first place in SPC with an undefeated conference record, a mark that will be tested this week as they face SPC rival Greenhill, the other team boasting an undefeated conference record. They will take to the court on Tuesday, October 21, at 6:00pm in All Saints’ Varsity Gym.

All Saints’ Varsity Field Hockey played a highly contested match against Casady last Friday, last year’s SPC Champion, but fell 0-2 with two late Casady goals. The team has a chance to enter the SPC Championship Tournament as the second overall seed if they can manage victories in their final three games. They, too, will take on Greenhill on Tuesday, October 21, at 6:30pm at All Saints’ Stevens Field.

All Saints’ Varsity Football took the field for their 7:00pm kick-off against Casady High School, and fans and players, alike, were treated to a special event with retired Special Forces Command Officer Dana Bowman parachuting into All Saints’ McNair Stadium. All Saints’ won a close game, 35-25, to claim the SPC North Zone Championship for a third consecutive year.

The Varsity Cross Country team participated in the SPC North Zone Championships in Dallas on Friday, another step towards the SPC Championships meet on Saturday, November 8, in Dallas.

This week, along with the previously mentioned contests for Volleyball and Field Hockey against Greenhill School, the Football, Volleyball, and Field Hockey teams will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma,  on Friday, October 24, for SPC Conference match-ups against (Tulsa) Holland Hall. Field Hockey and Volleyball will play at 4:00pm; Football will kick-off at 7:00pm.

Be Early. Be Loud. Stay Late. Go Saints!
