It was only a few years ago when we patiently waited for the Chisholm Trail Parkway toll road to open, making traveling in North Texas a little easier. We watched as new bridges and roads popped up all around Fort Worth, especially near the Trinity River. Then came the beloved Press Cafe and Mellow Johnny’s in the area now known as Clearfork.

Just off the beautiful Trinity River, Clearfork became an ideal destination for activities such as yoga, bike riding, running and socializing with friends and family.

Soon enough, we got word that Neiman Marcus would be moving from it’s original location in Ridgmar Mall to this new area. This news shook Fort Worth and brought tremendous attention to the new area. Little did we know…that was only the beginning.

Simon, the developers of some of the most high-end retailers, had big plans for Fort Worth. Since the Spring launch of Neiman Marcus, construction crews have been hard at work developing more shopping and activities in Clearfork.

There are many new retailers coming to Clearfork such as, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co., Climate, Everything but Water, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Tory Burch, Tumi, Tommy Bahama, and many more. Soon, with the completion of the Shops at Clearfork, Fort Worth residents will have spectacular retail that is comparable to Dallas shopping.

While the dozens of new stores and shopping will be much more convenient, many new restaurants are also opening in the area. Some new restaurants include B&B Butchers and Restaurant, an upscale steakhouse with attached butcher shop and deli; City Works Eatery and Pour House, a contemporary restaurant specializing in draft beers and quality American cuisine; and Malai Kitchen, a Thai and Vietnamese bistro known for their cocktails.

Clearfork also features a new AMC movie theater which will be great for people of all ages to enjoy, and Pinstripes, a place where family and friends can hang out by the fire pits, challenge friends to a game of bocce ball, or lace up bowling shoes for a fun game of bowling.

The Shops at Clearfork are scheduled to open this weekend, September 14-16. Opening weekend will include many activities for people all ages such as live performances from local artists, food trucks, realtor hosted in-store events, and many more.
