Education is perhaps the single most meaningful, purposeful thing in life, behind religion. To me,  education means learning. Most people when they think of education, they think of school. But that isn’t necessarily true. Education is defined as “the act of acquiring knowledge (dictionary.com).” So you get an education when you learn something in your sports practice. Or when your parents tell you something very useful and intelligent. That’s education. Anytime you learn anything new, that is education. Education is everywhere, and it is so important today because prospective work places look at your resumé and decide whether or not to hire you. Your resumé is filled with all of your educational experiences. Everyone should take their education, inside and outside of school, very seriously, because it paves the way for how you will live the rest of your life. Education is a huge part of my life.
